HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon consented to grant an audience to the outgoing High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, Datuk Awang Sahak bin Awang Salleh, at Istana Nurul Iman.
Datuk Awang Sahak had previously presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on October 2, 2013.
Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia share bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, health, education, defence and tourism.
Both countries share a close bilateral relationship, which is manifested by long-existing historical and traditional ties.
