THE Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) held a thanksgiving prayer ceremony yesterday in conjunction with the 42nd birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, who is also the Chairman of AMBD.
The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Finance’s Prayer Hall.
Present during this ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Education in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of AMBD; Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia
Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Roselan bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister of Finance; other members of the AMBD Board of Directors, AMBD staff and officers.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaassiin followed by the Asar prayer and Doa Kesyukuran, led by Imam Haji Azrol Alim bin Haji Zaini.
