BRUNEIAN celebrity, Wu Chun recently attended the 2016 New York Fashion Week at Pier 76 in New York City that was filled with A-list celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Blake Lively, David Beckham and others.
Wu Chun was invited by Coach Inc, a luxury fashion company based in New York City that marked its 75th anniversary.
“This is my third visit to New York City and I still remember how excited I was on my first trip to the Big Apple 17 years ago,” he said. “Travelling makes our life richer and it’s always an eye opener especially visiting a city like New York.”
Commenting on the Executive Creative Director of Coach Inc, Wu Chun said, “Stuart Vevers sent an array of super-wearable and functional clothes down the catwalk at the presentation of his Coach fall/winter 2016 collection.”
“It was a Varsity-Inspired collection to instantly fall in love with from the cool clothing pieces showcased to the chic accessories and the amazing way of combining them all into outstanding day-to-day looks,” he added.
In 2014, Coach, Inc announced Stuart Vevers as the new Executive Creative Director. He previously joined the clothing line 2013 as Executive Creative Director.
Celebrities from Korea, Taiwan and China also attended the event. Soo Young, a member of South Korean girl group Girls’ Generation; Daniel Henney; He Sui; Janine Chang and Zhou Dongyu were among the stars who attended the event.
Wu Chun recently wrapped up his first Hollywood produced movie in Australia after a two year break to spend time with his family. He is hoping to put in more of his time for his showbiz career this year.
“It’s a great start for the year, I haven’t been away from home for so long in the past two years,” he said.
“Do your best and follow your heart! It may be on your left but it’s always right,” he quoted.
