Parcel and Logistics Management course comes to an end

NEW post office branch managers were urged to double their efforts and continue to do their very best to produce a better image.

This was stated by Haji Mohamad Manan bin Haji Lakim, Postmaster General at the closing ceremony of the Parcel and Logistics Management course held yesterday at the Training Room, Mail and Parcel Processing Centre, Old Airport in Berakas.

Haji Mohamad Manan hoped that with the training provided, participants of the course will be more skilful, dynamic, competitive, positive, customer oriented and customer friendly.

The course, which ran from February 27 to March 3, was organised by the Postal Services Department to give training to officers and staff of the department to be more updated with the developments of post and changes in the sector.

Twenty participants comprising those with the ranks of Postmaster and Assistant Postmaster attended the five-day course which was facilitated by Anucha Soonglertsongpha, a consultant from the Asia-Pacific Postal College (APPC) in Bangkok.

Also present yesterday was the Acting Deputy Postmaster General, Haji Bolhassan bin Haji Bulat.
