HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on Saturday afternoon consented to hold a bilateral meeting with John F Kerry, Secretary of State of the United States of America.
His Majesty and the US Secretary of State discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and exchanged views on regional and international matters.
The bilateral meeting took place at the Lotte New York Palace hotel, New York, United States of America, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Accompanying His Majesty to the bilateral meeting were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
