MEMBERS of the Kampong Tungku/Katok Village Consultative Council (MPK) recently held a meeting, to share ideas on how to develop the village and boost its economy.
Presiding over the event were Haji Adnan bin Haji Bagol, Village Head of STKRJ Katok ‘A’; and Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Haji Ismail, the Chairman of the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board, in his capacity as the adviser to the consultative council.
Haji Adnan briefed the council members on the village’s history, the population density and the number of people receiving welfare assistance.
The village residents were also briefed on current projects, and future plans for development.
Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman, meanwhile, gave a talk on various ways of developing the village and its economy.
The meeting ended with group photo session.
