THE Anthony Abell College (AAC) in Seria held an Academic Achievement Award ceremony at the school’s multi-purpose hall to celebrate 75 students who achieved excellent results for the 2015 academic year.
Mas Diana binti Abdul Samat, AAC Principal during her welcoming speech noted that there has been a drop in the quantity of ‘O’ level achievements from 20.54 per cent out of the 112 students in 2014 to 18.85 per cent out of 122 in 2015.
She later clarified that though that has been the case, there has been an increase in the quality of achievements.
Tsng Tze Ying, Mia Amanda anak Salima, Muhammad Rafizan bin Aminoorashid and Jesslyn Mary Lua Wong received the Best Student Award with 8 ‘O’ Levels with Distinction in subjects.
Present to hand out the awards was Haji Jamail bin Haji Linap, Penghulu of Mukim Seria.
