HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday held a bilateral meeting with Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at a special meeting room at the Istanbul Congress Centre, Republic of Turkey.
During the meeting, His Majesty and the Iranian President exchanged views on regional and international matters and also discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. His Majesty and the Iranian President were in Istanbul to attend the 13th Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit.
