IN CONJUNCTION with the National Family Day, which falls on May 1 this year, hospitals across the country gave away gifts to babies born on the Sunday.
Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong yesterday presented a gift to a baby girl delivered at 7.34pm on May 1.
Present to hand over the gift to the newborn’s parents was the spouse to the Minister of Health, Datin Hajah Sarimah binti Haji Umar.
The baby girl, who weighed 3.2kg at birth, is the fifth child of Mohd Sofian bin Haji Simpul and Hafizah binti Sulaiman.
