AN IBAN family yesterday declared the Dua Kalimah Syahadah (Islamic oath) and chose Islam as their guidance of belief.
Dagat anak Rojoh, 52, is now known as Nur Dahlan bin Muhammad Adam while his daughter Eunice anak Dagat, 17, is now known as Nur Azyan Safiyyah binti Nur Dahlan.
The ceremony was held at the residence of Haji Abdul Ghani in RPN Kampong Rimba.
Present to witness the ceremony was Dato Paduka Seri Haji Bahrin bin Mohd Noor, the Commissioner of Police, and his spouse.
From January to April 2016, a total of 190 Muslim converts were recorded in the Sultanate.
