IN conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, the Ministry of Education (MoE) is hosting a series of Tedarus events.
One of such events was launched yesterday at Surau of Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) Male Hostel, where the guest of honour was Minister of Education Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, who led the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Education Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the MoE Dr Haji Junaidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, senior MoE officers and 280 students boarding at MDPMAMB.

The event continued with the recitation of Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan by Ahmad Nur Ihsan bin Hasrom.
A presentation of Waqaf was also held with the minister handing over two book shelves for the Surau Asrama Putera and 15 rehal to the senior teacher of MDPMAMB, Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Yakup.
Two more book shelves were also presented to the Surau of the female hostel by Dr Hajah Romaizah to the MDPMAMB Principal Hajah Monaliza binti Haji Abdul Halim.
