THE Mukim Consultative Council (MKM) of Kampong Luagan Dudok recently held a cleaning campaign at the Muslim cemetery in Tanjong Bunga Jalan Sembatang, Kampong Luagan Dudok.
Thirty MKM members and several village residents participated in the activity led by Johari bin Haji Maidin, Village Head of Kampong Luagan Dudok.
The annual activity, held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, aimed to honour family members who have passed away. It also sought to maintain a strong relation between MKM members and village residents comprising the elderly, youth and children.
Prior to the cleaning campaign, the council held a Doa Arwah event for the village at the Kampong Luagan Dudok Community Centre.
