In a brief interview with the Bulletin that Monday, Ambassador Fikret Oguz Ates expressed his outrage on the Istanbul airport attack, saying that present-day terrorism has no boundaries, in reference to recent similar attacks in Paris and Bangladesh.
The Ambassador also vowed that the Turkish Government and the people of Turkey would not capitulate to terrorism, and that life would go on, despite the tragedy.
He expressed his hope that the attacks would not deter Bruneians from their view of Turkey as a holiday spot, adding that Turkey has always maintained good relations with the Brunei Government and its people.
