RESIDENTS and members of the Kampong Bebuloh Religious Activity House Committee with cooperation from the Islamic Da’wah Centre yesterday organised their annual Hari Raya get-together celebration with Muslim converts in the village at the Kampong Bebuloh Religious Activity House in Mukim Pengkalan Batu.
Present at the ceremony were Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof and his spouse, Datin Hajah Siti Azizah binti Haji Musa, Director of the Islamic Da’wah Centre as well as senior officers and staff of the centre.
The ceremony aimed to further expand the eminence of Islam in the country while fostering closer ties between personnel of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Islamic Da’wah Centre as well as Muslim converts.
The ceremony began with recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and was followed by a welcoming speech from Haji Muhd Said bin Tundak, Village Head of Kampong Bebuloh and chairman of the organising committee.
