Also on hand was Cecilia Lee of IA Salon, who highlighted the basic skin care from washing the face, understanding skin care products, homecare massage for better skin and face features, and the common misconceptions towards skin care.
The objective of the workshop is to help the participants understand proper and safe skin care guidelines; skin conditions and problems; healthy homecare practices, as well as skin care product awareness and its application techniques.
Cecilia began with differentiating cleanser types which are normally used for face, and according to Cecilia, the market offers thousands of cleansing brands but differ from its texture, functions, cleansing powers, and suitability to skin type and conditions, with the likes of cleansing water, cleansing milk, oil and cream are the common types of products available to purchase.

A few other beauty tips from Cecilia were to improve eye puffiness through placing used green tea bags on both eyes closed for 15 minutes and then rinsing, and should be done regularly for better results; to cure and prevent pimples and acne through adding a small amount of sea salt in a water basin when washing the face; adding a small amount of green tea in water when washing the face to achieve smoother and shiny skin; and using green tea water to help tighten skin pores and whiten skin.
