A CONDOLENCE book was opened for a second day yesterday at the Singapore High Commission in Brunei Darussalam in Jalan Subok to enable people to pay their respects to Singapore’s former president S R Nathan.
Lim Hong Huai, the High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam was on hand to welcome Noriko Iki, the Japanese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, who came to sign the condolence book.
S R Nathan who was Singapore’s 6th and longest-serving president passed away on August 22.
For those wishing to pay their respects, the condolence book is opened at the following hours: 10am to 12pm, and 2pm to 5pm, and Friday is the last day.
