Korean delegation performs for Katok Secondary School students

|     Rokiah Mahmud     |

A GROUP of Korean delegates who are currently in the country for the Asean Festival of Arts Brunei Darussalam yesterday shared their culture with the Year 10 students of Katok Secondary School.

The 45-minute outreach programme featured a performance of traditional Korean musical instruments such as the 12-string Gayageum and Janggu.

During the performance, the Korean delegates also invited the students to interact and experience playing the traditional musical instruments themselves.

The Korean delegates and other Asean member states will also hold a performance tonight at Radio Televisyen Brunei in the capital starting 8pm. Members of the public are welcome to watch.
