IN conjunction with the Pakistan Defence Day, the Pakistan Embassy in Brunei Darussalam hosted a reception last night at the Indera Samudara Grand Hall of The Empire Hotel & Country Club where the guest of honour was Brigadier General Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present were members of the foreign Diplomatic Corps.
In his welcoming speech, Ahmed Ali Sirohey, the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam spoke on the significance of the celebration that commemorates the successful defense of the country by the armed forces and people in Pakistan.
The reception also saw a video presentation and the presentation of token to the guest of honour.
