RESIDENTS of Kampong Pelambayan in Mukim Kota Batu yesterday marked Hari Raya Aidiladha with a sacrificial event held the home of its Village Head, Haji Hanipah bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Haji Junit.
Two buffaloes donated by residents of the village were slaughtered at the ceremony, and the meat distributed to selected underprivileged families and individuals including orphans from the village.
Present to handover the sacrificial meat was Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Haji Mohammad Sunadi bin Haji Buntar, who was also the guest of honour.
According to Haji Hanipah, 14 village residents made donations for the sacrificial event.
