AN ESCORT personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) sustained a broken left hand in an accident that occurred at Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha near the capital at noon yesterday.
According to the police report, the RBPF received a distress call at 12.12pm, informing about the accident which also involved a 19-year-old woman who was driving a car.
She was accompanied by an 11-year-old boy.
The female driver sustained no injuries, while the young passenger suffered a sprained neck.
The accident caused damage to the car’s left mudguard, bonnet and front windshield.
The motorcycle of the police escort was also badly damaged.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
