THE Home Showcase series of event continued with a pop-up dinner held at KB V Plaza. Among the guests were young professionals based in Kuala Belait, who are keen to gain an insight on owning a home.
Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Mohd Jaafar, Deputy Head of Retail Banking at Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), which hosted the dinner, welcomed the guests with opening remarks to inspire young professionals to invest early in a home or property.
The whole theme and concept of the dinner centred upon creating awareness on the importance of home ownership and early financial planning through a video presentation by BIBD.
Guests were served delectable meals from The Energy Kitchen, as BIBD showcase a video of its customers who own properties at a young age and those interested in investing.
The Home Showcase Festival partner, My Space Gallery Sdn Bhd, had a video presentation on their latest products and services from home improvement angles, giving guests exposure to the styles and designs that are trending in the home solution segments.
Irene Hii from Valor Property Agency delivered a talk on the process of home and property purchase, and offered advise on what is currently available in the market locally that will bring good returns.
For the ease of inquiries, BIBD personal bankers were also present during the dinner along with certified financial planners for assistance.
This Home Showcase initiative will continue at Tanjung Bunut, Manggis and Rimba branch on September 30 during business hours.
As part of creating inspirations among customers to start dreaming about owning a home, an Instagram competition is still on going until October 3. Participants need only take a photo to portray what home means to them and hashtag #BIBDWhathomemeans on their Instagram account. Winners will get the chance to be invited to the Social Mixer event to be held on October 9 and win $50 shopping voucher.
