His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam sent a message of congratulations to Xi Jingping, President of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of the 25th anniversary on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.
In the message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction to see the relations between the two countries have deepened and strengthened as a result of Xi Jingping’s personal commitment and the warm friendship between the people of both countries. The elevation of this ties to a Strategic Cooperative Relationship was a significant milestone, based upon the long-standing trust and common aspirations of a prosperous future for Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China.
