LEARNING Ladders Society yesterday welcomed 30 Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Syariah and Law students for a clean-up campaign.
Organised by UNISSA’s recently established Syariah and Law Society, the campaign saw volunteers rolling their sleeves up to assist in the scrubdown of the area and also in planting saplings.
Speaking to the Weekend Bulletin, Social Unit and Welfare Secretariat of the Syariah and Law Society (SHALAWSOC) Najihah binti Awang Haji Ali noted that the clean-up is part of the society’s projects to unite members to cooperate and work together.
“This is to encourage not only us, but also members of the public to develop a sense of need to help others. I have been to Learning Ladders numerous times this year, and I feel the need to spread the word on autism,” she added.
