RIMBA II Primary School yesterday hosted a family-fun day as part of its Family Day celebration that featured ‘Educational Amazing Race’ activities as well as a mini bazaar.
Teachers, staff members, students of all primary levels as well as their parents and guardians yesterday enjoyed their time during the festive event which began with an aerobic session.
Participants of the events then went to the stations that had been set to compete in fun-filled games and activities based on school subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Islamic Religious Knowledge.
The morning event concluded with the presentation of prizes to the winners by the school’s former headmistress, Cikgu Azimah binti Haji Ali Ahmad.
The objectives of the annual event were to foster close relationship between the school with the students as well as their parents and guardians through fun and educational activities as well as to raise awareness of practising a healthy lifestyle.
