THE Cardiac Society of Brunei Darussalam’s (CSBD) 3rd Annual Cardiology Conference commenced yesterday at the The Rizqun International Hotel with a pre-conference workshop, gathering allied health professionals nationwide discussing various aspects of cardiac health and latest developments and guidelines in the area.
Over 200 cardiologists and health professionals from around the country are attending the conference that will end Sunday aimed at promoting ongoing developments in cardiovascular care and procedures. During the conference yesterday, experts in various cardiac sub-specialties presented talks in various workshops comprising topics such as basic and advanced ECG handling.
On Sunday, the conference will feature local and regional experts who will present key note lectures on focused topics such as coronary angioplasty, management of acute heart failure and electrophysiology among others.
