AROUND 50 residents from Kampong Jerudong attended two briefing sessions yesterday at the State Mufti’s Office, as part of the Informed Community Programme organised by the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office.
The briefings were conducted by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Labour Department, Adat Istiadat Negara and the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB).
The village head of Kampong Jerudong, Haji Mohammad Rais bin Ishak, told the Bulletin, “The programme is not only beneficial for the residents of Kampong Jerudong, but also to all citizens and residents of the country, as we are able to gain the latest information from government departments.”
The programme is aimed at sharing current information on the government’s efforts in enhancing the quality of living standards in Brunei.
