THE Lambak Jalan Bedil Religious School recently held a ceremony for presenting certificates to the former primary six students who have passed their religious examination last year.
Present as the guest of honour was an Islamic Education Officer for Brunei IIA Zone at the Islamic Studies Department, Ustaz Mohd Ahsanol Azmi bin Haji Serbi.
The Principal of the school, Dayangku Hajah Jurinah binti Pengiran Haji Sabtu, said the event was held to appreciate students who have put up their hard work to attain 100 per cent pass in their examination and to motivate the current students who are sitting for similar exams this year.
The event also featured a stage presentation, Dikir Asrakal and the sprinkling of scented flowers by the guest of honour and parents of the students.
One of the students, Nur Alya Izzati binti Julaihi, expressed her happiness after completing her pre-school to Primary Six classes in the school and said advanced preparation and proper learning period led to her success in the examination.

This is especially so as she had to attend secondary school in the morning.
She also shared the secret to her success that was reciting Al-Quran after every prayer.
Meanwhile, Sofea Ezzah binti Haji Amer Hamzah expressed her gratitude after scoring grade 1 with five aggregates. She said revising early prior to the exam and good time management were the secrets to her success.
