PEOPLE came in droves to Dermaga Diraja in Bandar Seri Begawan last night, to see the once-in-a-lifetime Supermoon phenomenon.
Telescopes were set up for public use during the sighting by officers and staff from the Survey Department, who helped explain the astronomical event to curious members of the public.
The Supermoon phenomenon occured after 68 years, with the last sighting on January 26, 1948.
According to the Survey Department, the next Supermoon will occur on November 25, 2034. – PHOTOS: Bahyiah Bakir
