A PYTHON that attacked two goats in Kuala Balai was caught recently by personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department in Kuala Belait.
The department said the five-metre long python was in a weak condition as it had swollen a goat.
Another dead goat was found next to the snake.
According to the department, it received a call that the python was attacking a goat in its enclosure at 10.29am.
The snake was caught by three personnel who were sent to the scene.
Last month, two pythons were also caught in Kampong Mumong and Kampong Sungai Teraban after the snakes were reported to have preyed on two chickens and a cat.
The department said the three pythons are being kept in a cage at the Kuala Belait Fire Station.
