PROSPECTIVE trainees of the National Service Programme’s (PKBN) 6th intake and their parents attended a briefing yesterday, facilitated by a panel that included the Director of PKBN Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Zulkifli bin Pengiran Haji Ismail, Camp Commandant of PKBN Major (Rtd) Mohammad bin Dollah, Pengiran Muhammad Nuur Hakim bin Pengiran Anak Badi Obzaman and Senior Deputy Advisor of Law Hajah Noorbae’yah binti Haji Yahya.
The briefing by Major (Rtd) Mohammad encompassed relevant information on PKBN such as available facilities and the necessary equipment to be taken to the PKBN Training Camp in Batu Apoi by the trainees.
Information on the various preparation, food and drinks for the trainees was also presented.
The overall briefing gave a clear picture to the trainees on the various training sessions and activities that will be completed by them during their 100-day period at the camp.
A question-and-answer session by parents with the panel concluded the briefing event.
In an interview, Haji Abdullah bin Mat Jair, a parent of trainee Mohd Saipon bin Haji Abdullah, said PKBN is a very important programme intended to instil the right disciplinary traits into the trainees.
