ONE of Brunei’s representatives at the D’Academy Asia 2 singing competition, Yadiy Yussof, recently returned home after successfully placing himself among the Top 12.
Aside from Yadiy Yussof, the Sultanate was also represented by Azhar Azis, Ejja Yaakub, Hazwan Mohamad, Ryana Munap and Wan Ziqri.
Upon returning on December 8, Yadiy received a celebratory welcome from his family, friends and fans.
Sharing his experience, Yadiy noted that participating in a big competition like D’Academy Asia 2 provided him the opportunity to gain more knowledge – especially on singing techniques and learning different styles of Dangdut songs.
Regarding his future plans, Yadiy said he will record an album in Indonesia after the competition ends.
