CELEBRATIONS to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) continued with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and its departments organising a Maulidur Rasul event which took place yesterday at Al-‘Afiah Hall in Berakas.
Present were the Minister of Health, Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi; Acting Permanent Secretary at the MoH, Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at MoH, Dr Hajah Maslina binti Haji Mohsin, heads of functions, officers and staff members at the ministry.
The event commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a religious lecture from Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad, the Acting Rector of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
The annual religious ceremony continued with Dikir Maulud and ended with Doa Dikir.
