MOZZAT Enterprise Sdn Bhd (MESB), an independent Inspection services provider of Brunei Shell petroleum Co Sdn Bhd (BSP), has developed various technical courses for their local employees to groom themselves to a new level of competency.

At the company’s celebration of achieving one million man-hour without lost-time injury (LTI) recently, two of the local semi-skilled employees Zinal bin Ibrahim and Hudri Munawir bin Haji Tahir were promoted as multi-discipline NDT Inspectors.

The event was witnessed by Mahani Kamis, BSP OAI contract owner.

MESB stated that the two employees rolled over without any prior technical qualification.

The employees achieved the promotion by undergoing NDT courses, examinations and assessments for the past two years.

The employees expressed their appreciation to their management for giving them the opportunity to upgrade themselves.

B C Mohan, Contract Manager of MESB, said that MESB intends to develop local employees by sending them to undergo courses on NDT Technical, Quality, Health & Safety and generics.

In addition, Mohan said that MESB also provides training for BSP staff and other business partners.

Over 150 non-MESB personnel have been trained with various courses and certifications awarded in 2015 and 2016.
