THE annual DST Carnival, running from December 4-6, kicked off yesterday as DST’s 20th anniversary celebration at the Bridex Hall in Jerudong.
The carnival, this year carrying the theme ‘Year of Giving’, is set to bring a bigger showcase with fun activities, tournaments, vendor booths, games and attractive promotions on DST products and services for visitors.
Officiating the carnival was member of DST Board of Directors, Abdul Latiff bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof.
Amir bin Pehin Dato Haji Hussin, Chairman of the DST Carnival in his welcoming speech said that this year’s carnival promises an exciting and fun filled event with activities ranging from stage performances, lucky draws with attractive prizes and fun indoor and outdoor games.
“We also have a wider range of participants from our merchants and vendors offering the latest models and designs from the fashion industry to the tantalising food all under one roof that will definitely spoil you with choices,” he added.
DST also unveiled its revamped website, dst.com.bn which features a more responsive user friendly experience, making it convenient for users to navigate or retrieve latest promotions instantly.

Visitors can enjoy special deals at the DST Pavilion where they can take advantage of the latest promotions by DST’s subsidiaries.
Special performances from local artists and the popular KFM Acoustics Sessions Live! 2015 will be held in the evening at the main stage area during the three-day carnival.
The grand finale of the DST Extravaganza promotion prize presentation will be held on Sunday, where two Hyundai vehicles will be up for grabs.
Visitors will be provided with free shuttle bus services located at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre from 9am to 9pm today and 7.30am to 8pm on Sunday.
