A FIRE destroyed an abandoned storage facility in Kg Rimba recently. Station Commander of Rimba Fire Station, Station Officer Mushidee said that the department received a report at about 7.28am and thanks to the quick response from both the Rimba Fire Station and Berakas Police Station, the fire was able to be contained at the scene.
The storage facility, belonging to a local construction company, was thankfully empty due to the process of moving to other facilities in Meragang and Tanah Jambu.
The cause of the fire and the estimated loss are yet to be determined.
