A GET-TOGETHER and discussion session for the Tutong District Neighbourhood Watch was held at the Operations Room of the Tutong District Police Headquarters on Wednesday.
Officer-in-Charge of the Tutong District Police Superintendent Suhairi bin Haji Sukri chaired the discussion.
Police officers and low-ranking personnel of the Tutong District Police accompanied Superintendent Suhairi.
Legislative Council members Penghulu of Mukim Telisai Yang Berhormat Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit and Penghulu of Mukim Tanjong Maya Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Wahab bin Apong, Neighbourhood Watch advisors comprising mukim penghulus and representatives of government institution officers from the Tutong District Office, Department of Electrical Services, Head of the Tutong Narcotics Control Bureau and the Tutong Public Works Department were also present.
The discussion touched on statistics from the last three months on crime and traffic reports received by the Tutong and Lamunin police stations. New efficient strategies to enhance cooperation among residents to eradicate and prevent crimes in villages in the Tutong District were also discussed.
