THE MINI Owners Association recently organised a MINI Day 2018 event at the Anduki Recreational Park with the support of QAF Auto Sdn Bhd.

The event began with a gathering of MINI car owners from the Brunei-Muara District at the Jerudong Park, followed by a stop-over at the Sungai Basong Recreational Park in the Tutong District before moving on to the assembly point in the Belait District.

According to Brunei MINI Owners Association President Romzi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, the gathering was intended to strengthen ties among the association’s members in addition to sharing mutual interests for classic cars and new MINIs.

He said, “We are honoured and grateful for MINI Day 2018, and for the opportunity to share our opinions and experience with each other regardless of nationality or race, and we hope that the event will continue on an annual basis.”

He also commended Felda Wong, the MINI Brunei Sales Manager at QAF Auto, for her active involvement in the planning and scheduling stages of the gathering.

Another gathering for fellow enthusiasts is scheduled for December at the 4th Borneo Mini Run in Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia.
