THE School Finance Monitoring Unit, Department of Schools, Ministry of Education held a closing ceremony for a workshop on the preparation of school account balance sheets at the Lecture Hall of Raja Isteri Girls High School yesterday.
A press release stated that the presentation of workshop completion certificates saw the attendance of Acting Senior Duties Officer (Corporate) at the Department of Schools Haji Mohd Sharifuddin bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
A total of 27 appointed workshop facilitators and 251 participants from sixth form centres, secondary schools and primary schools from Clusters One to Six in the country received certificates.
The workshop aimed to strengthen knowledge in the preparation of school financial balance sheets in accordance with School Financial Guidelines.
Head of the School Financial Monitoring Unit Pengiran Hajah Juliyamah binti Pengiran Haji Omaralli said she hoped that the experience and knowledge gained in the workshop can be practised and shared with other officers at their respective schools as an initiative that can contribute to professional development.
