POLITEKNIK Brunei officially launched their ‘Karnival Konvo 2016’ event in the capital yesterday.
Held in conjunction with Pol-iteknik Brunei’s upcoming 2nd Convocation 2016, the annual Kar-nival Konvo is taking place at the parking area of Jalan Bendahara in Bandar Seri Begawan, opposite the Royal Regalia building.
Organised by Politeknik Brunei’s Centre for Student Development and Innovation, the event will be continuing today all the way until Tuesday, January 19 from 10am-10pm every day, open for members of the public.
The theme for this year’s Karnival Konvo is ‘Cultivating Entrepreneurship’, which Pol-iteknik Brunei explained was chosen in response to a titah by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Wad-dien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to encourage Bruneians, especially the youth, to venture into entrepreneurship and business.
