THE Ministry of Education (MoE) won the 21st Civil Service Day’s Inter-Ministry Netball Tournament after crushing the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) 45-31 in the final yesterday.
Hajah Nora Amalina Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim and Hajah Kamisah Haji Abd Razak were inspirational, leading the team to a 10-6 advantage in the first quarter. MoE continued their domination in the second quarter, extending their lead to 24-13.
MCYS’ Mashayati binti Mohammad Taib and Nur Iffah Natasha Sofea binti Abdullah closed the gap through but MoE managed to regain maintain their double digit lead to capture the title.
Third place went to the Ministry of Health, who overcame the Ministry of Development to win 43-41.
