HIS Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF); and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman, attended a high-tea reception hosted by RBAF yesterday, to commemorate His Royal Highness’ 42nd birthday.
Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah.
Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by First Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, the Deputy Minister of Defence; Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of RBAF; and Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar, the Permanent Secretary at the Minister of Defence.
Their Royal Highnesses took part in a group photo session with senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF; after which His Royal Highness was introduced to senior officers who had just returned from attending some overseas courses, and two RBAF personnel who had won a shooting tournament abroad.

Their Royal Highnesses were shown a video clip display, and presented with a photo book album titled, ‘Sejambak Ristaan IX’, which featured a collection of photographs of His Royal Highness’ visit to the Ministry of Defence and RBAF, as well as working visits abroad.
His Royal Highness then signed the Royal Parchment, before the cake-cutting ceremony and the presentation of a pesambah.
To bless the ceremony, a Doa Kesyukuran was recited by Captain Ariffin bin Amit @ Hamid, the Assistant Head of the RBAF Religious Department (JA’MAAT).
At the end of their visit, His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah received well-wishes from senior officers and officers from the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.
