A JUSTICE League Run took place yesterday morning at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Datin Paduka Hajah Adina binti Othman who officiated the start of the three-kilometre and five-kilometre run.
Organised by the Heroes Management Team, the event was aimed at raising awareness and support for orphans.
Donation cards were handed out to participants to help raise money for the National Orphans Fund.
Jonathan Ang Wer Fong, one of the members of the Heroes Management Team said, “We chose the JAPEM (Community Development Department) foundation to show support for it as this particular institution needs more support and exposure.
“We don’t want to be one of those companies that manages events just to earn profit, but one that helps people for a good cause by giving back to the community.”
