HEAVY fog and acrid smell of burning forests greeted students yesterday morning as they began their second school term after about two weeks of school holiday. Scorching heat could be felt over the past few days caused by the El Nino effect and slightly hazy condition.
The good news is that thunderstorms and sho-wers are expected today and tomorrow, according to the Brunei Darussaalam Meteorological Department.
