A BRIEFING on the Tuition Class Project under the Education Intervention Programme (PIP) by the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) for Temburong District was held yesterday at Sultan Hassan Secondary School.
The briefing was delivered by Hajah Donnaliza binti Abdullah Puasa, Assistant Managing Director of Yayasan.
A motivational talk was delivered by Haji Ali Yusri bin Abdul Ghafor, Acting Assistant Director, Head of Counselling and Career Guidance at the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education.
By April 10, the PIP in the district will be extended to 21 Year 10 students from Sultan Hassan Secondary School and the centre is located at Sultan Hassan Primary School.
The implementation PIP by Yayasan serves as the foundation’s initiative to identify children from low income and less fortunate families who are in need of academic guidance.
