COMMANDER of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, witnessed the highlight of Exercise Hikmat Bersatu V/2016 at Bukit Teraja.
Several scenarios over the past few days culminated in the final ‘attack’.
In the last scenario, following confirmation of the enemy’s hasty defence position from the RBAF Operations and Intelligence feeds, RBAF conducted a strike operation, which led to the enemy’s defeat.
The battalion attack at Bukit Teraja effectively marks the end of Exercise Hikmat Bersatu V/2016.

A thanksgiving ceremony for the end of the exercise will be held today.
Since its inception in 2003, the exercise this year was the fifth series.
It focussed on contemporary security threats including non-traditional security threats.
