FIVE officers from Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications, led by Director-General Le Van Nghiem, are currently in the Sultanate to enhance ties in broadcasting and media with their Bruneian counterparts.
Yesterday, the delegation visited Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB), focusing on its radio services. They were briefed by the Head of Pilihan FM, Rokiah binti Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan, on their vision, mission and the relations with the international media.
The delegates were also brought to see a live morning TV show, the Current Affairs and Sports and News Exchange sections as well as other radio channels.
At the end of the visit, the Vietnamese officers visited RTB Director Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu.
