FORMER members of the Brunei Darussalam team who participated in the 1980 Under-18 Asian Schools Football Championship in Thailand came together last night for a reunion at Millennium Restaurant.
The guest of honour was the team manager, Haji Mohd Denis bin Haji Rosli.
Haji Majidi bin Haji Abdul Ghani, the team captain, said many of them had not seen each other in about 36 years, and that they started reconnecting this year through one of the teammates.
One of the team members has passed away, so the original objective of the reunion was to conduct a Tahlil and Doa Arwah for him, in addition to strengthening their friendship, he added.
