SOME 15 members of the Gadong Open Rover Scouts recently held a survival technique programme that included, among others, jungle cooking lessons at the National Scout Training and Activity Centre in Gadong.
The participants were shown how to light a fire using used drink boxes, how to bake bread and potatoes using aluminium foil as well as how to grill chicken.
It is hoped that this will help prepare them better for outdoor activities.
Also taking part in the programme were 20 Junior and Venture Scouts from the Rimba Secondary School.
