YAYASAN Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Secondary School yesterday hosted one of its outreach programmes, ‘Amal Suci Ramadhan’ in hopes of making students socially responsive to the needs of the society.

Teachers, staff and students contributed donations of food and daily necessities – such as rice, oil, flour, canned foods – to families who are less fortunate and to help them prepare for the festive Hari Raya celebration.

The objectives of this programme were to make charitable deeds during the blessed month of Ramadhan, to ease the burden of families who are less fortunate, to give exposure to students of YSHHB Secondary School about families who are in need and to express sympathy among students of the school and be grateful to what is given by Allah the Almighty.

The CEO of YSHHB School cum chairman, Noorhaizamdin bin Haji Mohd Mosbi, was present to hand-over the donations.
