SIXTY members of the Association of Retired Personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force (POLSARA) held a recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman at the Royal Mausoleum at Jalan Tutong.
The congregation was led by the President of POLSARA, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Salim bin Pengiran Wahid.
The recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil was led by Muhammad Runy bin Metali, a member of POLSARA. Also present were Legislative Council member, YB Pehin Orang Kaya Maharaja Kerna Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Ya’akub bin Pehin Orang Kaya Maharaja Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Haji Zainal; former commissioner of police, Pehin Orang Kaya Pendekar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Haji Sabtu; and POLSARA adviser, Dato Paduka Seri Haji Abdul Rahman bin Besar.
